I’ve had my company for 16 years, but this past year has been a significant struggle with cash flow. Following a very successful period from 2023 to 2025, a VC-backed competitor, Rowan Ear Piercing, moved into Oakbrook mall. Their marketing budget has impacted my business significantly, leading to a 30% drop in revenue in###-###-#### I am currently having a difficult time managing payroll and purchasing supplies. While we have VERY strong margins, we lack the capital needed for marketing and e-commerce. Any investors out there who might be interested in a turnaround opportunity in exchange for equity? I have built a successful brand, but the current lack of cash flow is a major hurdle. Appreciate you taking the time to read this. Dana --

Hey Dana, 16 years is real. Before the investor conversation, one question worth sitting with: is the revenue drop because Rowan outspent you, or because their presence revealed something about where the customer loyalty actually lived? Those lead to very different next moves. Happy to think through it if useful.

Hello Dana, I’m interested in investing in your company. Can you DM and give me more details about the situation? Thanks!
