I'm in the early stages of reviewing a few different opportunities to acquire a multi unit Subway operation. I'd be interested in connecting with others in the Subway or related franchise space. Additionally, I'd like to hear what multiples others are seeing in the space.

Thanks Luke! I’m going to be straight up honest on this one. Subways are hard. Cost of labor is high, unless your friends/family are co-owners and work for a song. I have another client who is *huge* in food franchises, and even he stays away from subways.

That said, all situations are different. I’d be happy to assist in review of this, and in the acquisition. Feel free to schedule something with me:

I considered Subway briefly as there were quite a few units for sale in the area. I decided against it after seeing all of the negative press concerning the brand. There are franchisees suing, the franchisor forces promotions that don't always make financial sense for the 'zees, lots of stores scared to remodel because the ROI isn't there. These are problems you will find in lots of franchises but seemed especially prevalent in Subway. That being said, 1 and 2 unit operators usually don't have the same economics of big operators so maybe their experiences are different.
