Take 1-minute to help me fine-tune my valuation calculator?

I’ve built a simple business valuation calculator designed for small business owners to quickly estimate a high, low, and likely sale price based on a few but specific key inputs. It’s geared toward smaller businesses, typically under $5M in purchase price — with most falling closer to $1M PP, based on my market. If you have a minute, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could run a quick test using one of your past acquisitions, a deal you're reviewing, or even a hypothetical example. I’d love your quick feedback — does it feel accurate? Useful? Link: https://thebbg.com/business-valuation-calculator/ Note 1: No email capture or any marketing nonsense to use the calculator. I want this to be an open resource because I wasn't able to find one online outside of spreadsheets. Note 2: It is a little clunky to use on mobile. I haven't figured out a good way to fix this unfortunately. Desktop & tablet should work smoothly.

I ran a couple valuations in the healthcare industry. One I thought seemed somewhat reasonable the other in my opinion I felt the multiple shown###-###-#### to###-###-#### showing 3.45 and Most likely $1.3M price IMO is high for a solo doc practice cash-flowing $385,234 SDE. Another thing noticed, if you're inputting an amount and you have to go back to another page to get the amount because you have only entered a few numbers that when you go back to valuation page it doesn't save what you already input it reverts back to the $10,000 shown. I hope this makes sense what I'm trying to describe. I like what you have here!

This is very interesting and got me thinking. In my opinion, the valuation it spat out was so low I'm not sure a deal would happen, but nothing wrong with being selective! It also could have been because I violated your suggestion of lower EBITDA/price. Great tool though - I'm curious if certain parameters were weighted more than others?
