Talking to Previous Owners (Just Sold Business Owner Leads)

Has anyone tried getting ahold of business owners that have just sold their company?

The reason I'd reach out is to ask a series of questions that give searchers insight as to how these owners were approached/marketed too, what made them decided to go with the purchasers, deal structuring, etc.

I believe this would help searches navigate through their prospecting phase and aid in their approach to speaking with owners.

Does anyone have good marketing scripts, email templates, or outreach advice for searches. Previous recorded seller calls, training guides to cold calls and outreach campaigns?

I own an outreach agency. I made this step by step guide to cold email for SMB deal sourcing. (I don't have a list of business owners who have recently sold, but I do have a method for pulling that datapoint so DM me if you need)
