Anyone has a good tax advisor to recommend for answering following questions for a foreign (Spanish) investor wanting to invest in a UK Search Fund?
1. Dividends: UK may impose a withholding tax of up to 10% on dividends paid to a foreign investor, but this tax is often 0%. Under which conditions does 0% apply?
2. Capital Gains: Foreign investor (limited company) is not liable for UK capital gains tax at the exit of the company it invested into. Is this correct?
3. Board seat: Is a board member taxed in UK if they're paid directly, and they don't live in the UK and are not a UK tax resident?
Thanks!
