I’m not taking quantum computing into account much if at all. True quantum computing isn’t accessible to most people or businesses. It’s really a research-heavy field still where costs are just not maintainable by businesses in the lower middle market. What’s accessible to them is more high performance computing that looks like quantum but isn’t quite there. Where I do take it into account is future cyber security risk. If and when quantum becomes accessible, and even with the quantum-light computing that could be accessible soon, a flood of cyber risks open up if tech-enabled businesses don’t update their security posture.
