Templates for independent sponsor financial models?

I see many templates for searchfund economics here (obviously, given the searchfund focused forum). This could be a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone can share an excel template focused on independent sponsor economics? While there is some overlap, there are some unique attributes for independent sponsors - closing fee that can/cannot be rolled over, management fee, promote structure that can change with MOIC multiple of investors, sponsor catchup clause that can be retroactive if thresholds are met, more varied debt offerings hence things like cashflow sweep, PIK also coming into play, etc.

My friend of 15 years and I are embarking on an independent sponsor journey but sadly both of us come from operating backgrounds, hence trying to make sure if we are accounting for everything when creating our own model. Perhaps it is easier to build from a template if someone has a more comprehensive template. If anyone has a decent excel model template covering typical independent sponsor deal, can you please share this? If possible please email redacted we really appreciate the help.

I really like this model by Wall Street Prep. Fairly comprehensive but not overwhelming. https://www.wallstreetprep.com/knowledge/lbo-model/

I modified this to be more focused on the independent sponsor model.

Hi Darnelll. Good morning. I’m a self-funded independent sponsor. I’ve been piecing together the economics of this model with halting success. I would love an assist! Lol. Please DM or email redacted thank you for your post.
