Tequila distillery in Mexico

Hi everyone, I am helping a retiring businessman sell his tequila distillery in Mexico.

Important to mention that the distillery is NOT currently operating, however, has all permits and licenses in place, including well-known brand registry and export license.

1,600ha of protected denominacion de origen tequila area of which 180 are planted with agave azul tequilana weber

As you might know, tequila is one of the fastest growing spirits with ample customer base in North America and abroad.

Not a typical search fund deal but could be interesting for someone with operating experience who likes to get his hands dirty in a more early stage venture and an eventual sell to one of the majors (Diageo, Cuervo, Corralejo, Pernod)
