I'm currently in the process of starting a self-funded search fund and am looking to choose a CRM. I have some experience with Salesforce and Hubspot but have heard about some other options as well (e.g., Pipedrive, Zoho, and DealCloud).
I would love any thoughts on what makes some of these options stand out in the search context. Being self-funded, price is an important factor. That said, functionality like ease of use, integration capabilities, and scalability are all important.

Given the current options, features, and prices, who stands out right now as having the most compelling CRM offering and why?

I use Pipedrive, which fulfills 95% of the requirements of a search. Another recommendation is Onepagecrm; it closely mirrors Pipedrive's functionality at a fraction of the cost. Modern CRMs are quite advanced and largely equivalent in features. The key is to choose one and consistently use it. I tell my interns: if it is not logged on the CRM, it never happened. Best of luck.
