1. Any tips for first-time Search Fund interns, or tips for how people can secure their first Search Fund Internship?

2. How can first-time Search Fund Interns better prepare for the job/interview?

3. Current/past Search Fund Interns, do you have anything you wished you knew beforehand?

4. People recruiting for Search Fund Interns, what are the three most important things you look for when going through the recruitment process? What's the most common mistake/issue you see people make while interviewing or on the job?

Arturo, it is great to know that you are exploring a search fund internship. I enjoyed my internship experience and wish you the best. Here are my notes: 1. Network as much as you can through this platform, LinkedIn, alumni connections, etc. Even if no internship is posted, you can ask a searcher if they need help part-time. 2. Know from a basic level how a search fund operates, read into the specific fund’s thesis, come prepared with industries and businesses that you can pitch on the spot.
3. The internship can open doors to full-time / long-term career paths that you weren't considering beforehand, so keep an open mind. Hope this is helpful. Happy to connect to talk more! Good luck!
