Does anyone know about executive education programs or courses for ETA?

So far, I've only found specific ETA classes within MBA programs but no executive programs that offer similar content. There are a few exec ed PE programs (e.g. at Harvard) but those seem to be quite general in nature and not focused on ETA.

Here's a great list from SME Ventures on the topic but all the programs seem to require full MBA enrollment. https://www.smeventures.com/insights/search-fund-courses.

There's also this Udemy course but that's quite basic, too. https://www.udemy.com/course/fundamentals-of-entrepreneurship-through-acquisition-search-funds/

Thanks for any tips!

Hi, ^redacted‌:

^redacted‌ has created a 2.5 hour EtA 101 course. The link is available through my education site: https://pipelineprep.podia.com/

^redacted‌ was the first person I know to build a program for executives through his Buy Then Build Masterclass and the Acquisition Lab.

I created the Nuts & Bolts program to serve professionals and students who do not have access to EtA programs. The prerequisite for the course is to have read something in the Required Reading Buy Then Build, the HBR Guide, Stanford Primer, etc. You can find that and other reading on my site, too.

The Nuts & Bolts course emphasizes preparing you for your launch. The program is agnostic on the search fund model. The goal is to find a model that fits your circumstances and your desires to be a CEO/business owner. The second cohort is incredibly diverse with students from across the globe. I am incredibly excited for them. We've had one session so far. I would be willing to accept applicants who could start before the second session on 2/11. While I think the cohort offers students the most in terms of mentorship, I've heard from folks that their schedules won't allow it. So, I'm also planning to release a self-study version this Spring.

Warmly,
^redacted

Thank you!

I am basically looking for an exec ed program equivalent to https://www.hbs.edu/coursecatalog/6452.html.

Happy to pay for it, too.

Unfortunately, no b-school seems to offer a comparable program outside of a full-time MBA.
