I recently acquired a trucking company and am looking to speak with people with operational experience, in this industry. Currently, we are looking to revamp the team and are performing an overhaul of the processes and systems in place. Any insight on team structure / roles along with cloud based software would appreciated.

Respectfully, if you recently purchased a company and are seeking direction from others with with operational experience, then you might want to hold off revamping the team and overhauling and revamping the systems in place. Your goal in year one should be "not to break anything". I've seen too many people jump into a new business with all the "answers" (sometimes we even call these things "synergies"); only to make changes that wreck the business. Be patient, trust the people in place, & learn from them during the first year - even if it means leaving a few synergy bucks on the table. The changes you make after that will carry less risk, and the decisions you make will be more sound. Best of luck!

^redacted‌ - I have a client that has strong experience in this area. His business is in process of being acquired, but he's a great resource and is willing to consult. I'm happy to make the connection, feel free to DM and I can facilitate the connection. I have a lot of experience in trucking - and he'd still be my first call. His operation runs at 25-30% margins which is unheard of in this space. ‌
