Hi everyone, We're working on a submission to the UK Government’s call for evidence on tax incentives to unlock the UK’s scale-up potential from an ETA point of view. We’re looking for examples from acquired/portfolio companies showing employee growth post-acquisition (primary focus). If available, revenue and EBITDA growth would also be very helpful. Anonymised examples are absolutely fine. If you’d be open to sharing any examples, please comment or message me directly here or @ redacted

Hi Taslim. What specific tax incentives are you researching? Potentially the highest impact (and yet lowest actual cost) step the UK government could take would be to replicate the SBA 7a loan scheme in the USA. There's plenty of research on the benefits of that and countless examples.

I'm all for more government support! Maybe ^redacted‌, ^redacted‌, ^redacted‌, ^redacted‌ have some insight here?
