This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing acquisition platform and work directly with the founder on the engine that drives the entire business: deal sourcing. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to mergers and acquisitions, business broker networks, direct-to-owner outreach, and the operational realities of small business ownership — experience that's hard to find at any internship, anywhere. This includes a premier Claude license and a $20K membership to smbdealhunter.xyz What you'll do: Cold call business owners to source off-market acquisition candidates Build target company lists across our verticals and geographies Develop the broker network — establish and maintain relationships with M&A advisors and intermediaries nationwide Run a prospecting and marketing cadence across email, LinkedIn, and phone with measurable conversion metrics Analyze CIMs and build financial models — screen deals against investment criteria and build SDE/EBITDA valuations with capital structure scenarios *Please note this is an unpaid internship.
