Update: Still Searching – Exploring Strategic or Licensed Partnerships
Hey everyone! Quick update on my self-funded search in LA/Ventura County. Since my last post, I’ve reviewed multiple deals, connected with some great folks here on SF, and narrowed my focus to service-based and light industrial businesses with strong cash flow in the $2M–$6M range with $500K–$1M+ SDE. Still prioritizing: -Building services & trades (hardscaping/landscaping, exterior maintenance, generator install, etc.) -Commercial cleaning or niche B2B services -Manufacturing/distribution with low capex needs -Recession/AI-resistant verticals What I’m seeing: Some of the strongest targets require licenses (B, C-10, C-61, etc.), operational depth, or technical experience that could benefit from a complementary partner. I’m opening the door to potential collaborators who want to buy and build alongside me. I’m especially interested in connecting with: -Licensed operators open to an equity stake or long-term role -Experienced GMs/COOs from trades, building services, or light manufacturing -Strategic investors/advisors who want to help guide operations and share upside -Searchers with technical/operational backgrounds interested in a joint deal I have $500K in committed capital, SBA lender pre-approval, and full-time bandwidth to drive this forward.
