Looking for investors to acquire "Target", an urban landscape installation and maintenance firm. Target is well known and regarded in their niche -- if you have visited or lived in New York City you have been in one of their landscape installations.
- $50,000,000 revenue
- 15% gross margins
- 90% large installation / 10% maintenance
- 90-95% revenue from NYC projects
- 50 year history serving NYC Architects, Builders, Management Companies, Public Entities, and other recurring buyers
- Excellent pipeline and backlog of work
- Minimal key man risk with multiple estimators/managers/foremen
- Capabilities and track record of executing larger landscaping projects than literally could be delivered by most competitors
Target is looking to recapitalize with new ownership. Their current capitalization structure was poorly geared to handle multiple effects at once: a) COVID effects [stop work, inflation], b) excessive owner personal expenses, c) insufficient focus on deleveraging, and d) growth..
Seller would like to continue with the company as an employee and minority shareholder. All cash proceeds from equity sale will be used to deleverage company.
Transaction will before start of 2025 landscaping season -- March 1st.
