Hi all - has anyone put together or seen a list of trusted / high-caliber brokers and/or have recommendations of specific brokers they have worked with in the past that they could share? Geography / industry agnostic.

Appreciate the help!

Unfortunately, a list such as this does not exist. The best way remains personal referrals from experienced dealmakers to get specific names and insights on the best brokers and intermediaries.

^redacted‌ mentioned few associations. They offer certifications like CBI, CMAP, M&AMI, CM&AA. Brokers with certifications are generally a good bet; however, there are many others who are great w/o the certifications b/c they have years of experience brokering.
redacted‌‌ who answered above founded AMAA; it offers the CM&AA certification; it is the gold standard in M&A. education. I was president of AMA for 10+ years and taught in the CM&AA certification for 15+ years.
