The capital equipment distribution (sales and service) industry is ripe for modernization. I am launching an independent search fund to acquire and operate multiple capital equipment distribution businesses, each with $300k–$5M in EBITDA, a sub-4x multiple and at least 10% profit margin.
Why Me?
With 16 years of P&L ownership and 22 years as a professional, it is clear to most who know me that I love leading teams and building businesses. From founding start-ups to leading reinvestment strategy for a $500M aerospace division of a Fortune 50 (and many sizes in between), I’ve been exposed to many industries, business models, and team constructs.
My latest turnaround of two legal entities in the US and Canada showed clearly how the “good” and “ not so good” capital equipment distributors operate. Leading these two businesses cemented my view on people-first, customer-centric cultures and how transformational they can be in this industry.
The Ask
