Searchers looking at vertical SaaS businesses - what % of these businesses would you estimate are currently being run with remote / mostly remote operations?

Of the two businesses I've acquired (statistically significant sample size of two so definitely accurate), 100% we're remote.

In all seriousness we've probably seen about the fifty percent split Joseph mentioned. What I find interesting is a lot of the value has been with those that were still in office. It was generally an indicator that more could be done with the business as the owner hadn't yet made the leap to fully remote.

Of the five I've acquired: 3 were remote/mostly remote, and two were in the office.

Of another five I've looked at for acquisition: 4 were in the office, and 1 was 50/50 in-office/remote.

Finally, a friend of mine runs a small vertical SaaS that is remote.

That's 11 examples roughly 50/50 split.
