Vetting the Buyer

***PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE A SEARCH FUND OR ETA BUYER DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT THIS LISTING*** I haven’t been in sell side advisory as long as others on this platform, but why would I ever say something like this and shrink my buyer pool? Isn’t this just lazy brokering? I get they only want experienced buyers. But I couldn’t care less who or what the buyer is as long as they: A) Have proof of funds or have demonstrated the ability to raise capital successfully on previous deals B) Have some form of experience that lends itself directly to the success of their purchasing the business C) Are a good human being What am I missing?
