Does anyone have thoughts between the two - pros/cons for each? I am trying to decide which organization to consider. post-acquisition, and looking for peers that could provide guidance in customer engagement (market development) and operations

I'm in EO currently. EO operates on experience shares in the group forum setting and actually discourages advice-giving. If you have a issue you are facing relating to hiring a COO to complement you as a CEO, you may present that situation to your group and ask for experience shares about executive hiring experiences they've had (successes and failures). If you're looking for holistic, long-term improvements in your personal and professional life, something like EO might be a fit. The opportunity to be with other (probably more) successful entrepreneurs in a vulnerable (unmasked) setting is pretty incredible. There's a great social aspect to it as well which I value as well.

Vistage wasn't a fit for me for two reasons (1) The makeup of the local chapter was entirely of main street small business operators of all the same age and demographic; and (2) I was unclear on how many holdco and or micro-PE hands-on investors there were in their global database.
EO's global member base seems to have a number of holdco and micro-PE hands-on investors - which is what I'm looking for. Was wondering if anyone could support that assumption. I've reached out to roughly 10 existing and past EO members that fit the investor mold I mentioned, but I haven't received any response over the past six months. I'd have more conviction joining EO if an EO investor could share their thoughts with me. #lookingforafriend #skull&bonesclub :)
