About Longview: The Longview Companies is a newly established forever-hold fund that is backed by the best investors in search. Our goal is to acquire into three distinctly separate industries and build platforms from which we will drive a mostly-inorganic value creation strategy over the long-term. About the Managing Partner: Dan Doud is an experienced searcher. He graduated from Kellogg in 2015 and spent the next 5 years at Bain & Co advising large private equity funds before starting a traditional search in###-###-#### While that search ultimately failed, it enabled Dan to establish a presence in the community and join One Claim Solution, a business he now runs as the Executive Chairman & CEO. About the role: This role will be critical to the success of Longview. The individual in this role will engage deeply with the Managing Partner to establish the foundation of the fund, contribute to theme development, drive the sourcing engine around each theme, and support the deal process from end-to-end with hands-on the diligence, modeling, and structuring processes surrounding each acquisition. Post-acq responsibilities will vary depending on the nature of the deal and the phase of the fund. About you: We're looking for an athlete. The ideal candidate is pre-MBA with 2-4 years experience in private equity, investment banking, and/or consulting. You want to get into search, and may even be considering an MBA as the pathway to do so. If you are hungry to learn about search, be entrepreneurial, and dive into a well-resourced fund run by an experienced search, this could be the role for you.
