We built a deal-matching tool for searchers. Looking for early users and honest feedback.
We’re launching Good Company, a deal-matching platform for searchers and independent buyers, built by the team behind Acquire Weekly. Here’s why we built it. Most searchers I talk to spend more time sorting deals than evaluating them. You’re on 15 broker lists. Your inbox fills up with teasers that don’t fit your criteria. By the time you find one that does, three other buyers already have the CIM. Good Company works the other way around. You set your buy box once: industry, revenue and EBITDA range, geography, deal size. Then you get a ranked feed of deals that actually fit, instead of everything. What’s in it: Match scoring: each deal gets a match % based on your buy box, broken down into financial fit, market fit and risk, so you can see why it ranked where it did. Deal health score: a general read on the business itself, separate from how well it fits you. Enriched financials: revenue, EBITDA and SDE in a consistent format, so you can compare deals side by side. Deal alerts: get notified when something matching your criteria hits, so you’re early instead of late. Skip/save workflow: triage your feed in minutes instead of hours. When something looks right, you hit “I’m interested” and get connected straight to the contact or an advisor who can help you move on it. We built this because we’ve been on both sides. Through Acquire Weekly and our advisory work, we’ve watched good buyers lose good deals for no reason except timing and noise. Searching is already hard enough without wasting your best hours filtering junk. I’d really value this community’s feedback, especially from anyone actively searching right now: What’s the most painful part of your sourcing process today? What would a tool like this need to do to actually replace part of your workflow? Happy to answer anything in the comments, or DM me if you want early access.
