Were you one of the first to launch a search fund in a "new" country?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand the challenges and obstacles searchers have faced when establishing one of the first search funds in a "new" country.
I would therefore love to talk someone who was one of first people to launch a search fund in a country that hadn't seen the model before.

If you think you can help me just the slightest, then feel free to comment and I will reach out to you.

I'm looking forward to talk to you all.

Thanks.

Rasmus, you would probably benefit from listening to Alex Bridgeman's recent podcast interview with the team at Second Squared who have tried to establish the search fund model as investors in Australia. If you find that helpful, you could reach out to the principals at Second Squared for advice.
