Western Canadian Banking References

Good day - I am attempting to pre-screen banks/financial institutions that would be willing to finance a business purchase in western Canada to see what traditional financing options are available.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bank or even a contact within a bank who has experience with financing the purchase of businesses in the $500K - $2M range? To date most of the institutions I have chatted with are focused on either financing startups, or funding the expansion of business...not the sale/purchase of them.
