Hello ETA mates, What is this communities opinion on Laundromats? I keep seeing laundromats for sale and have heard from several sources that they have a history of being safe and lucrative businesses to own. I'm curious to know if anyone has had experience in this industry and what are the considerations.

I've owned three laundraments in the past in Los Angeles. I'm happy to share my thoughts. Some things to look out for is price sensitivity and saturation of the market, i.e. how many laundromats around. On the expense side, Rent and utilities will be your biggest expenses by far. If you want to chat further just ping me and I'm happy to hop on a quick call.

Hey Joshua, my family had owned several laundromat in the midwest for over 20 years. Some considerations is maintenance of the equipment and theft. Theft was a big issue for our family, since we had the business before all the new payment technology.
