Hello Searcher Community! Everyone we talk to seems to rely nearly exclusively on email. Does anyone do outreach in other manners? Perhaps phone, in person, or snail mail? Would love guidance around this as we hone in on unique outreach methods. Thank you in advance!

I was focused on a small geography, so this may not be a fit for everyone but once in-person networking events resume, I'd try to find your way to an EO (Entrepreneur's Organization) happy hour or prospective member event. Full of CEOs so an interesting way to plug into some local in-person networks.

Phone networking with owners in your network, a personal connection, etc. For an opportunistic search, limited geography, this has been my proprietary focus. You may blend this with "river guide" approach.

If you have an industry target, then Trade Shows is something to consider. I've been approached at various shows by PE searchers trying to filter prospects. If you research and learn about targets before booth visit, you'd stand out. At least you'd get rapid access to owners/gate keepers. I'll for sure do this at every show I do in the future.

As an operator, I personally ignore the email bombardment from various PE / search. For this reason, I have a hard time relating to the intern fleet / email for leads approach, but it seems to work for others here.
