What are your preferred lead gen and CRM tools?

I've been recommended to use ZoomInfo for lead gen, combined with HubSpot for CRM. Please let me know your preferred lead gen and CRM tools. Thank you!

I've been using the following for my Search: 1) Clay (www.clay.com) - I tried ZoomInfo but found Clay to be more accurate, easier to use, and more cost-effective. I’ve also heard good things about Apollo, though I haven’t tested it myself. 2) ETA IQ (www.etaiq.com) - I started with HubSpot, but switched to ETA IQ. It’s been built for Searchers, so in addition to CRM functionality, it has an integrated financial model and other tools that have really helped streamline my process.

Call me old school but I just put together a very detailed Excel spreadsheet and detailed notes of my interactions - as CRM :-) And leveraged all my networks for qualified leads. Put together a short elevator pitch of what I was looking for so people would remember.
