What diligence services do you wish were more available? Please describe them in whatever detail you like.

I think where I currently see the most need in terms of diligence (with all the services that currently exist) are resources that help self funded searchers better learn and understand the industries of the businesses they are thinking of acquiring. Some industries are very niche and it can be difficult to understand the trends, technological changes, drivers, etc. PE utilizes consultant studies and expert calls which are great resources but outside the scope of what a self funded searcher can do. I think if there was an ability to have 3-5 relevant expert calls for prices that were reasonable there could be a strong interest in that service.

Owner / management and key staff alignment and relationships is an area that is both sensitive and hard to accurately measure. If you can get a good read of this you are ahead of your competition.
