Potential targets are hard to find without business brokers, what is your strategy to find them?

Absolutely, however as it's said, no pain no gain. There is many possibilities how to find them, but probably one of the best would be to start with some database from your area of search trying to filter potential targets by size, profitability, industry, area and other parameters your .dtb will allow you.

Afterwards, you are just looking at companies and trying to find a story why it should work, why you and what exactly to tell the owner (as well as how to reach her) and going deeper and deeper.

It's absolutely worth it, so go for it.

Directly contacting business owners (unless they’re represented by a broker) is what’s worked best for my clients, for decades. (It’s a good way to avoid costly buyer competition.) DM me if you want more insights.
