Hello Searcher Community! I wanted to ask - does anyone use any software to aid in outreach either for CRM / email management, and if so which software and what benefit have you seen? We'd love any guidance around this as we try to professionalize our outreach processes! Thank you in advance!

^redacted‌, it depends on what you mean by "best." Zoho is what we use now for campaign purposes. It's a very cost effective workable solution to mass outreach with semi-complex sales cycles. It's a bit clunky and difficult to follow a process, but it works on a budget and in a pinch. I've found that HubSpot is terrific if you have a lot of money to spend or are going after a highly targeted (small, high-value) group of targets (priced per lead/contact is ridiculous for some business models and makes sense for others) . Salesforce (particularly with Pardot - ahem, although price per contact here is just silly) is amazing for long-running complex campaigns if you have $300k to spend getting it running and a bit of development runway (think 6-12 months to get it "mostly" ok). SugarCRM is a good all-around tool, and OctopusCRM if you're a social media nut (our business is not). Overall my suggestion is that you choose your tool based on your use-case(s) realizing that it'll take daily tending regardless. Hope this helps!

We used Zoho for about 12 months and got very frustrated with it's chunkiness and unfriendly user interface. Have been on Agile for 2 years now and it'sbeen reasonable. We are however beginning to see some real issues with their support and tech services as well as product feature consistency (e.g. sending out a campaign one day works and then doesnt work the next. Their support people have no idea on a fix - very frustrating. Also it is supposed to log/track and link all emails that come into/out to contacts on the database - but that feature just stopped working a few months back and no support or service call has rectified it. I have mates using Hubspot and happy with it. Havent tried or heard much about the Microsoft suite of add ons like Flow etc.
