What is your experience with cold emails vs. cold letters?

Email is scalable. If you want to cover a lot of ground quickly, that's the way to go. You can also use Linkedin InMail to target business owners and do automated cold outreach (best if you stay within a certain vertical per campaign). Email is the way to go. It is orders of magnitude faster, and over a couple years of sourcing, my colleagues and I never saw letters, even hand-written, open the door with founders who were unresponsive over email. I'm sure there are examples to the contrary, but not enough to warrant the extra time in my view.
