Depends on your industry, in manufacturing (my industry), these owners aren't on social media at all, and barely touch platforms like LinkedIn. It may be different depending on your buy box. For my industry, direct mail = best terms/price, and you can engineer a killer response rate, but will have the most painful DD as off market deals always need some housekeeping.
Your question has quite a bit of nuance.

Direct mail and Organic Social Media. Marketers are expecting Organic Social (video specifically) to have a unique window of opportunity this next 24 months on LinkedIn and Meta.
Alternatively, Cold Email (including AI-driven cold email) is perhaps the most crowded and overused channel for owner engagement.
