Happy Friday everyone!
I used Grata last year and I admit it is very easy to use but there are couple of drawbacks and it is very expensive. Could you please share what software/solution do you use for sourcing, how much you pay and would be great if you could comment on what do you like and what you dont like about it.

THANKS!

We are not a searcher but we work with 20+ search funds as a virtual assistant business, and so have tested various sourcing softwares.

I think Apollo would be the best option for you. It has 10x (arguably 50x) better contact quality than Grata, and there is a free trial for you to try out. The paid versions aren't that bad either - $50-80/month. In my experience, Apollo valid emails work ~75% of the time, whereas for Grata it might be ~50% (with less contacts found also)

The main downside is that you can't filter for bootstrapped companies as easily (this is the only feature about Grata that we've found to be unique/value-add vs competitors).

P.S., if you contact Apollo support to cancel, sometimes they'll offer an ~80% discount ;)

^redacted‌, my co-Founder and I are working on an AI deal-sourcing SaaS called AlphaSearch. We are just in the Beta stage (8M companies currently on platform, soon to be > 20M companies in the US). If you DM me or email redacted we can provide a much less price intensive alternative, though keep in mind the site is not as pretty as it will be. We also provide a free Workflow Automation audit in your first 100 days of operations to see if you can save any time on the admin functions.
