Hey everyone — I know there's software out their to manage M&A deal flow but a lot of it is very expensive, not super customizable, or just not geared toward smaller acquisitions.

So I was curious, what do you all use to manage deal flow? I'm especially curious for online businesses. In essence, this would be a way to get a "snapshot" of everything in the deal flow pipeline with a way to "expand" each detail and have all of the relevant information available in one place. Any details on software name, features you really like, features you wish it had, pricing, etc. would be appreciated. Both curious for myself and trying to do market research to see if there's an opportunity.

I've personally just used a "sophisticated" Google Sheets template in the past when managing deal flow for PE funds and while it was generally good, it definitely left a lot to be desired.

We use Affinity. It’s not the cheapest, but it does a pretty good job. We use a Kanban board view to look at our deal pipeline. Easy to see what deals are at what stage (Teaser, NDA, CIM, IOI, LOI, etc). It also has a gmail plugin, so we’re able to make updates for a given deal directly in gmail (vs. having to open up the crm and plug-in everything manually).
