What's in a name? Thoughts on "Capital" for self-funded, solo, geo search?

While having credibility in the name is helpful in converting cold outreach to responses, you can generally accomplish this through better outreach methodology (and subject line revision - email). As many veterans will affirm here, once you have a *good* deal the investment capital is generally not difficult to find and thereby your (shell) company name should become irrelevant. A common mistake I've seen Searchers make is to present themselves like a PE or VC firm instead of owning their competitive advantage in the market.
