It's been difficult to find the right deal and in the right size. I've been looking for over 12 months and nothing yet. The deals I found that were a little better didn't accept our offer.

Is there any specific strategy or something to find better deals in the space? I've been reaching out a lot of brokers, discussing with a lot of sellers and nothing good yet.

Some business I have interacted with was asking for almost 8x ARR which I believe has no sense at all.

Tech is a broad word and captures a lot. If it's unique, it might be valued as potential tuck-ins for strategics, vs cash flow for people like us that are depending on debt. In general, I don't look at tech businesses that use buzzwords ("AI"), have strong growth, or focus on projections.
