I haven't heard of $200k personally. I'm a self-funded searcher, but from investors I know / traditional searchers I know I've heard more about $120k. You can certainly argue for higher - even $140k/$150k and it's possible to get that if you're a great candidate. Like anything else, you have to sell yourself. Especially given how crowded traditional search has gotten in the last 1-2 years, searchers have less leverage than investors from my perspective. So you really really have to have amazing experience and be a unique candidate to justify going well above market rate with something like $200k.

I spoke to one accelerator who quoted $125K as the base salary during search-phase, but they said they'd allow you to search from any geo. Then the expectation was that you'd conduct a U.S.-wide search and would relocate once you find an acquisition target. Then after acquisition, it was $200K base, plus a small bonus, plus three tiers of equity.
