I have seen 125k to 150k but 100k can feasibly work as well. This is more of a function of the neighborhood the searcher lives in more than anything else. All else equal - Fidi, UES and Harlem are the most economical and could be done on 100k.

I haven't heard of $200k personally. I'm a self-funded searcher, but from investors I know / traditional searchers I know I've heard more about $120k. You can certainly argue for higher - even $140k/$150k and it's possible to get that if you're a great candidate. Like anything else, you have to sell yourself. Especially given how crowded traditional search has gotten in the last 1-2 years, searchers have less leverage than investors from my perspective. So you really really have to have amazing experience and be a unique candidate to justify going well above market rate with something like $200k.
