Where can I find "typical" financials for targeted sectors? (In advance of getting specific financials from target companies.)

I'm particularly trying to get a handle on typical capex levels.

There are databases such as BizMiner (https://bizminer.com/) and RMA (https://www.rmahq.org/statementstudies) that provide comparative industry benchmarking data. Depending on the industry, it might also be helpful to look at publicly-traded companies.
