Hi - I'm just starting my search process. Any tips on deciding where to form your LLC to kick start your search process? Would love to hear about your thought process or any resources to help evaluate. Once that, do you use a registered agent service? Thank you!

^redacted‌ Delaware is the favored option, particular for C-Corps that are issuing shares (as is common in ownership structures for acquisitions).

However, if you're self funding and forming a searching organization, you have a lot more opportunities and may want to consider some of the advantages of your home state. I found this to be an invaluable resource for LLC formation research: https://www.llcuniversity.com/
