I'm looking to hire a GM of $10M revenue home services company.
Minimum of 3+ years of P&L responsibility.

Total comp: $240,000
Base: $200,000
Profit-Sharing Bonus: 2% (est. $40,000)
Location: Chicagoland

Any recommendations on where I should look?

You can also use an executive search firm, there are quite a few out there and there are probably some good ones for your industry. Also if you are willing to train someone you might have a highly competent and experienced employee but otherwise not highly educated; business is not as complicated as some want to make it out to be; as long as they have basic quant skills, common sense, Integrity, initiative and intelligence (the 3 Is) and experience in the business you can teach them P&L management and business strategy.

I think you are getting to the fundamental issue of running a home services company. I have never seen a successful small home services business that is run by an employee. Any good GM-level talent can (and will) start their own home services business or buy one. So, you will end up with salaried second tier talent who will then compete against highly motivated owners running their own business.
