We are in the process of setting up Australia's first Search Fund Accelerator and planning a visit to the US to attend one of the Search Fund Conferences. We can see there is one in November at Chicago Booth and one in December at Harvard.

We would love some feedback as to which one we should attend?

Both are awesome. Assuming you can only choose one, I'd say go to Booth as the vibe there leans more towards incubated searches. HBS leans more towards self-funded searches. At the same time, Search Fund Accelerator is based in Boston and they hosted an open house the night before the conference last year, so that would be worth attending if they do it again.

Biased opinion...HBS grad (who lived with 2 Aussies on campus) and a Searcher at Broadtree Partners...if you are interested in recruiting efforts, HBS has ~10 Australian grads/year vs. Booth at ~3/year.
