As an advisor and capital facilitator, I can quickly tell if a potential buyer has what it takes to close a deal. That way, I can give them the best possible guidance. If that’s the broker’s goal too, why can’t they do the same?

Interesting. As yet this isn't affecting the UK market but I think the rapid growth in popularity of searchfunds here, and the resulting dilution in quality, will soon mean people here will be more circumspect too.
