13 years ago today, Bloomberg Businessweek asked, "Why Don't Women Start Funds?" While this year's all female panel on search funds at the Stanford Women Entrepreneurs conference was an exciting development, the number of women searchers globally remains low. Perhaps, it is time to ask that question again?

I started my ETA venture in Feb just as COVID hit...I am not the typical searcher as in I am not an MBA grad nor do I come from the financial corporate world. But I did not see this as a detriment but rather a advantage do to my years of owning a company and building it from scratch and my leadership and tenacity as a former colligate and professional athlete. I embrace the challenge of being a out of the box female searcher. I can a lot to process initially but as long as women don't mind jumping over hurdles and perceived weaknesses we all will do just fine in this space! Good look searching LADIES!

For some reason, I had a hard time locating it at first, but just in case this is helpful for anyone else, there is a Women in Search group here: https://www.searchfunder.com/group/view/2058
