Hi all, I’m an independent sponsor exploring conferences to attend this Fall and heard about the McGuireWoods Independent Sponsor Conference taking place on Oct###-###-#### . For those who’ve been: - Was it worth attending? - Did you find it to be a strong networking opportunity (with other sponsors and capital providers)? I’m looking to both learn and build relationships in the community, and it seems like a solid one. Also open to recommendations - are there other conferences this Fall that you’ve found especially valuable for independent sponsors? Thanks in advance for your insights.

Thanks for the tag ^redacted‌. Quilan, we have been before and usually find it quite valuable. Unlike other conferences it is all networking time which I prefer over seminar based events. Also, with the the sheer number of attendees you are bound to find people you can do deals with. For the cost to attend compared to other events, I'd recommend going.

I think it depends on what size of deals you are looking at. That conference is primarily focused on north of $3M of EBITDA and if that is outside your range you may not get as much value. However, I do think it is a good idea to build relationships with independent sponsors as they often see deals that are too small for them which they could pass on to you
