The absence of a like-for-like equivalent to the government-backed SBA 7a Loan Scheme makes it more challenging to raise institutional debt for aquisitions in the UK vs the US. I would also say that there seems to be a higher degree of broker listings with the option of seller finance in the US than in the UK.

it is not a buyers market in my opinion; there are not many sellers, the debt market is terrible and raising equity is challenging unless you are in tech/AI
