The holding company I represent chases a slightly largely deal I imagine than most searchers ($4MM to $10MM EBITDA) but we all have the same desire to find proprietary or direct investment opportunities. Beyond relying on the referral network we would like to scale our marketing activities to find relevant founder run businesses considering an exit. We need tech. We are down to ZoomInfo and SourceScrub. Cost is not an issue. Both are comparable. SS claims to generate bigger lists of hard to find companies; ZI claims to find better contact information as well as do a better job managing an engagement and marketing campaign and provide unique seller insights based on digital behavior. SS does some of this too but it strikes me as a more manual process with less insights. What do you guys think? ZI or SS?

Zoominfo is contact enrichment. Once you have a list of companies from SS that match your criteria, the coverage on email address, company address, etc. might be spotty. Zoominfo closes those gaps.
FWIW, I think Grata is better than SourceScrub if you're looking to generate company lists.
